Precise Location (GPS): We collect your exact location to allow you to map where a tree was planted or to suggest areas in need of saplings.
Media: Photos uploaded by you to record tree growth and build your timeline.

            Location Usage: Plant-a-Tree requires access to your location in the foreground (when the app is open) to correctly position markers on the map. We do not track your real-time position when the application is closed.
        

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

Display your planted trees on the global map.
Manage your planter profile and your XP.
Process reports of inappropriate content sent by the community.
Send notifications about interactions (such as "water drops" received).

3. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase infrastructure to ensure the security of your data. This includes:

Firebase Authentication: To ensure secure logins.
Cloud Firestore: To store tree records.
Firebase Storage: To host uploaded photos.
Tally.so: For processing support forms, reports, and data deletion requests. All data sent via form is protected by encryption.

On our promotional website (plantatree.com.br), we may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve user experience and support the project. This includes:

Essential Cookies: Necessary to save your cookie consent preferences.

5. Moderation and Banning
